Waste Disposal Sites

There are currently two waste disposal sites in Western Newfoundland operated by Western Regional Waste Management:

Bay St. George Waste Disposal Site – Servicing the Bay St. George sub-region.

Wild Cove Waste Disposal Site – Servicing the Corner Brook and the surrounding communities sub-region.

Other Disposal Sites In Western Newfoundland

  • Burgeo Waste Disposal Site – The Town of Burgeo operates the Burgeo Waste Disposal Site servicing communities in the Burgeo sub-region.
  • Channel–Port aux Basques Waste Management Site – The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques operates the Port aux Basques Waste Management Site servicing communities in the Southwest Coast sub-region.
  • Deer Lake Landfill – The Town of Deer Lake operates the Deer Lake Landfill servicing communities in the Western Hills sub-region.
  • Pollard’s Point Landfill – The Pollard’s Point local service district operates the Pollard’s Point landfill site servicing communities in the White Bay South sub-region.
  • Portland Creek Landfill – The Portland Creek local service district operates the Portland Creek landfill site servicing communities in the Long Range sub-region.
